Completed the Vitality London 10K today in my best time ever, 59m 50s, chuffed to bits. Very muggy and warm but good fun. Lots of people wandering round London with their medals round their neck this afternoon. Back home now, work tomorrow.
10K under 60 mins (just)!!: Completed the... - Couch to 5K
10K under 60 mins (just)!!
Congrats on the run and time Well done.
Very very well done Sue. You should be very proud of yourself, that's a really good time too
Oh wow that is really fabulous, you must feel amazing....
Congratulations, thats a really good time! you should be really pleased, wear your medal to work??!!
Many congratulations on running 10k in less than an hour that is brilliant
Well done, it must have been quite tricky in those conditions, so double congratulations.
Under 60 mins....flip. Where do I send the champagne and chocs?
Under 60, 60, six zero....many 5Kers are not far off that..
Thanks for all of your lovely comments. This was my first outdoor run in years, I did all of my training on the treadmill so I was chuffed to bits with my time. Next race is a 5 miler on Cannock Chase with a lovely big hill at the end!!!
A statement of the obvious, maybe, but a sub 60 minute 10k is two back to back sub 30 minute 5ks. That's not too shabby and you should feel pretty pleased with yourself.
Well done!
