What a fantastic experience and I would recommend it to anyone. The going was quite tough for me as I have never run this distance before but the crowds and all the other runners certainly helped to get me round. I ran the last mile with a Crocodile! it was either that or a choice of a banana, spider man or father christmas carrying an ironing board!
My aim was just to get round so I have achieved that - my time 1hr 16minutes. Would I do it again - yes I would but will have to wait for my poor old body to recover. Thank you all for you support and inspirational blogs.
Maggie p.s will be having a glass of champagne later!

Wow, well done! Think the crocodile was a good choice to run with, the ironing board Santa may have been a health & safety risk if he turned round quickly!
