Does anyone else have problems with editing?

Since the changes on this site I find I can't edit my responses or posts before sending. So, for example if I make a typo on the first line of a response I have to delete every single word until I reach the one I need to change!

This didn't happen before the changes. Does anyone else have this problem? I use an ipad if that makes a difference.

If you press send then edit I have found it enables you to click in where you wish to make the change ? Best try it, I have been known to get it wrong !

You could send them a message to see if common prob When I get home ill check on I pad to see if I'm the same I couldn't see my older posts and joining date was wrong . I got a very prompt reply ( 10 mins later and it was nearly midnight) asking for more info then got reply back saying they were working on prob and hopefully resolved in next couple of weeks You can find where to send message by clicking green lightbulb bottom of page

Oh it looks like editing not prob on phone

Once you've 'Sent' your message, you can always go back and click on the Edit button to make changes. It works OK on my iPhone, Mac and work PC, but I've not tried an iPad. I can just click where I want to edit the message and then 'Update Reply'. I am quite good at smelling pistakes, and use it often.

Thanks for this but I don't have this option since the changes. I did before. Weird. I'll raise the question to admin. Love your smelling pistakes.

Thanks for checking Fitfor60. Nothing happens when I tap the screen. Maybe it's my ipad!

Do you have a lightbulb on the bottom right of your screen? Tap it and you can suggest the proofreading step be re-instated. If someone else has already suggested something like it, you can vote for it.

Also, that little grey box with a caret in it is the so subtle you might miss it 'back to top'button so useful on threads with many responses.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't noticed that light bulb before! Someone else has suggested it so it's not just me!
