Week 2 - done!! Despite a slightly shaky start on w1r1 I've now completed week 2 and really getting into this running lark. I can't believe what a difference 6 short sessions can make. Love seeing the improvement on my Nike+ app. Roll on week 3 (gulp!)...

Ace! Back of the net (to mix metaphors). Well done, and you _can_ achieve W3.

Ha ha ! Sounds like you're getting addicted like the rest of us!

Good luck with week 3.

Take it steady. Nice and easy does it. Don't let over enthusiasm get the better of you as you need to finish 9 weeks in one piece. The more care you take not to overdo things, and just do gentle jogs as Laura says, then the more chance you have of completing the nine weeks without breaks for injury.

Good luck. Enjoy yourself!

Well done, love your enthusiasm. I did run 3 of week2 on Saturday, but don't think I feel comfortable/confident enough to move onto week 3 today. May have to repeat week 2, probably won't decide till the moment of starting.... Perhaps I'll give it a try and see if I fail miserably.

Don't let your head talk you out of it! You did week 2! You have completed all you are meant to do to be ready for week 3. Give it a go - but take it slow!! Really slow. You CAN do this, trust the program, you WILL do this. There is no failure, getting off the couch and starting already makes you a winner. Well done so far, keep it up!

Thanks for the encouragement. Its so easy to give into the head talk but you're right- think I'll now give week 3 a go this evening. Thanks .

Great! Do let us know how you get on. Just remember to take it really slow! Speed can come later. Don't fret about how slow you feel you may be - I had dogwalkers overtake me! The important thing is to keep going til the end. If you still have the energy to go when Laura tells you you're almost done, that's the time you can try to go fast ( never happened to me!) . Take it easy and have a great run.

Yeah, despite screaming legs, I did it, first run ( slow jog) of week 3. I feel so happy. Thanks for encouraging me to give it a go. Finished it an hour ago and still have silly smile all over face .

Brilliant result!!!! So pleased for you, it really does give you a boost inside when you get to achieve something you thought you couldn't. This program is brilliant for that. Remember it in weeks to come - you really are ready for the challenges it sets you. Well done you!

Brilliant, glad you are enjoying it. Be prepared, there will be bad runs, when they happen, remember how you feel now. 2 down, only 7 weeks to go, you will have that graduate badge before you know it.

Fantastic! It is amazing how all the runs seem to fit in together and we can run for longer! Take it steady and keep going forward! :-) Week 3 is waiting for you! Xx

Why should you fail?

Just keep telling yourself "I am as good as the others and if they can do it, so can I"

Happy running for tomorrow.

My hubby and I are in the same place (completed W2R3 Saturday) Am feeling good and keeping fingers crossed that injury or ailments don't stop us carrying on. Already we want running to be a "habit" we never break !
