Completed week 8 about 3 weeks ago and not done anything since. Have plenty of excuses, but I really don't think I am going to get back into it all too easily. Had chest infection one after ther other for the last couple of months, done a couple of Run-fit sessions where I really huffed and puffed and am now feeling rather deflated. This is the 2nd time I have reached week 9 and not completed and I really have no reason, apart from being a bit poorly to not complete this time. Yes, I can make the time to do it, I have a number of routes to do and even a treadmill at home to run on, but the mojo is just not kicking in at the moment to get going again. Have not even been to the gym or any classes (which I was loving) for about 3 weeks and the weight is beginning to creep up again. Away for the BH weekend, so guess I could pack the running gear and see what happens?

Need to get going ....again.....

I think you have to be firm with yourself and say "I am going out for a run on _____ (specify day)" and stick to it no matter what. Why not start with week 8 - do the three runs and move on to graduation week 9. Today is Wednesday so make a plan to go out tomorrow, then Saturday then Tuesday. You can do this! You've already proved that you can do 8 weeks worth, so don't give up now just when you're so close.
GO GIRL!!

right...pack the running gear, give yourself a small target like a 20 minute run or less. Go out with a view to enjoy it, take it slow and take in the surroundings, no expectations. Then aim to have a treat after......good luck and enjoy it

I agree. You can do this. Pick a time to start up again and do it. 8 weeks proves you have it in you!
Agree with all of the replies - pack the running gear and head out and just enjoy... You'll surprise yourself!
