Completed run 2 of week 4 this morning. Was tired at the finish but then I was a bit tired to start with! However enjoyed it and took in the wild life on the way. Saw ducklings and goslings on the canal, Goldfinches, May Flowers and Bluebells in the meadows at the side of the towpath. Lots of barges. Also some gorgeous black Hebridean lambs (don't like think about them being on someone's plate in the not too distant future). All in all a good run.

That sounds like a lovely run! Well done, only 1 more to go for week 4!
What a beeeeeautiful post!! Well done on the run for starters, but also well done for endorsing the FABULOUSNESS of running outside. There was a poster on here recently saying that she needed a boost to get off the treadmill and try a run outside. I hope she reads this! Wonderful. One more run of week 4 and then........the serious stuff! Go get 'em!
Desperately trying not to think about W5! Yes it's lovely being able to run outside and in beautiful surroundings. I tend to look around at what's going on and this keeps my mind off how much longer I've got to go. Even the runners who live in towns will see things they haven't seen before if they take notice.
Sounds like a very enjoyable run. I'm extremely lucky as I live on a marina next door to a country park so I have plenty of nice waterside places to run. It's definitely gorgeous at this time of year. Try not to worry about week 5 - it has a reputation that it doesn't deserve, in my view. I certainly had no problems with it - just try to take a more philosophical approach. Good luck with your next run and best wishes.
