Is anybody using Nike+ app?

Hi all, does anyone use the nike app for running? Does it work ok? Somebody knows if there is a group there with others C25K runners? tks!

I have been using since Christmas and really pleased with it .i can play my own music and wee voice tells me my time every mile . Also let's me make little notes which are quite interesting to look back on However I have just found out that the distance might not be too accurate ie I have only once used it on park run and it said I had done 5 k before I got to the end and I would guess park run course is measured accurate Not technical so dont know if phone or app or satellite Anyway at first I was disappointed cos it means when I think I have been running a mile in 12 mins I obviously have actually been slower Anyway I just compare like for like and at moment sticking with Nike miles! Hope that makes sense.

Of course I don't mind but don't think I am there yet !! At moment only use it on phone and never plugged into computer Maybe this will spur me on to sort it out Off on hols tomorrow but will let you know when I have done it

Oh you can add people on the phone...you go to the menu on the left hand side tap friends go to add friends and then go to nike+ option and then tap in name and voila it brings up!

Our local Park Run was 5.67km according to the Nike + app

That's exactly what I found hippy chick I now refer to my nike miles - as compared to actual miles

I use it and I love it! The only thing I find is that the distance is a little inaccurate but for your speed and all other features it's fab so I recommend using a separate distance measurer (I think that's a word!) and then you can adjust it manually xxx I use manometer to measure xxxx happy niking!
