W6R2 Completed

Yes, I managed the dreaded 2 x 10 min interval run :-) I have to be honest and say that during both runs, after the first minute of each I could have stopped and was thinking I really can't do this. So, what I did, was turn my phone face down on the treadmill so I couldn't look at the countdown, dig in and get on with it. It was tough, but totally doable. So, all you lads and lasses coming into week 6, my advice to you is don't let intervals catch you out, go back to basics.....slow and steady wins the race. Good luck. Now onto W6R3, will be Saturday as can't do tomorrow - giving blood, so would probably keel over!! Happy running fellow C25K'ers :-)

Well done. Everything seemed to conspire against me during week 6.

Thanks spoonierunning, I know how you feel - week 6 seems to be a killer!

Well done on getting the second run of W6 over and done with. You should find R3 better as you will be able to get into your stride a bit more - it's just a solid run. I think it was Danzargo, some weeks ago, who did actually describe week 6 as a 'killer' and he was not wrong! Good luck with R3 and best wishes.

Well done! I did the same run on Wednesday and have run three in the morning. Well done on getting through your W6R2 and all the very best of luck for Saturday! Good choice in not doing it after a blood donation session! :-)
