On the home straight now (yay!). Thought I'd try an easier run to start w9 off with a run on the beach. The beach has always been kind to me before, presenting me with a perfectly firm, smooth and flat surface I could just glide over (well, shuffle and wheeze a bit quicker anyway). Today however, I kept finding areas that looked perfect for running on, but were deceptively soft underfoot. Blimey, it certainly makes you work for your 30 mins. On the bright side, I bet it's great for fitness.

Yes if the sand is soft underfoot it will make you work harder. Well done you 😊

I had a beach run on Saturday... it’s not easy. Apparently it can make 3 miles use the effort of 13 on the road if it’s really soft! And yeah, one heck of a workout... you can be very proud of yourself for completing the 30 minutes.
