Yes yes yes!!! I did W4R1 this morning and managed ok! Unfortunately my last 5 minutes were uphill, not a huge hill but more of an incline, but it does make a difference! Feeling on top of the world!

Going there tomorrow! Dare I say 'yay'?!

Well done on the first run of W4. The hill will give you a bit more stamina and a better workout so it's to your benefit. I'm not sure I'd like to tackle one though - all flat where I live, thank goodness! Well, you put in the effort so you deserve to feel on top of the world now. Good luck with the next run and best wishes.

Hi Lottidog ! You did it, yay ! Isnt it an amazing feeling to think we ran for 5 minutes non stop ? Not only once, but twice ha ha :-) I have just finished W4 Run 2 today, am planning on doing Run 3 on Thursday and starting Week 5 on Saturday. 18 months ago, I was a depressed, fifty plus , 25 a day smoker with lungs like a pair of smoked kippers, and here I am running non stop for 5 minutes ! Who'dve thunk it ? xxx :-)

Wow poppypug - you have really come a long way! You are charging ahead!! :-) I have to say this running is helping my mental health, and as a migraine sufferer, who usually has at least 12 migraines a month, I have only had one migraine whilst doing this challenge! It really helps with depression too, it makes you feel so good! My main motivation for doing this was that my son is getting married in June and I wanted to look good on the day, and get fit. I dance with some really lovely friends, but they are all in their 40's, and I am 55, so I want to try to look a little younger without going under the knife LOL!! Good luck with your next run xx :-)

Aw thanks :-) You too x I wish I had done this years ago, I feel I have wasted so much of my life suffering from depression and anxiety, but never mind, I feel I have found the path now that I need to take, and it has led me here. Hey Lottidog, youre gonna knock 'em dead at the wedding , just think, we might have graduated by then ha ha :-) xx
