First run of week 9 done

I can genuinely say I enjoyed that! I covered 3.5 k in the actual running part, is that good, average or below average?

I covered the same distance in my week 9 runs. It's taking me about 40 minutes to complete 5k. I think that is average but these times can vary depending on age and gender. I also have a lot of weight to lose.

Who cares!! You are out there doing it - how amazing that feels. Speed and distance will come later. Just enjoy your last couple of runs before graduation.

Graduation week is a time to focus on finishing the programme. You can use the follow on podcasts to increase distance and speed after you graduate. Trying to push things along at this stage could get in the way of a comfortable graduation. Enjoy your next two runs then worry about distance etc. Good luck and best wishes.

Good luck with the rest of your runs. Everyone is different and has different goals. I am about the same as you and have just recently covered the 5k in the 40 minutes including the two walks at either end. I am very happy with that and can feel the health benefits already. Well done and happy running.
