W6 r1 - Was that 'So Easy' or 'So Wheezy'?

Crumbs that was tough! There was I, running along in the early morning mist and drizzle, inhaler in pocket, feeling just about in control, when what should come on the podcast but a song with the inspiring lyric 'so easy'. Now, what happens when an asthmatic runner hears the words 'so easy, so easy' sung over and over again? Well, that inspiring little phrase quickly morphs into 'So Wheezy'. So there I was, running along to an inspiring track that's inviting me to have an asthma attack. 'So wheezy, so wheezy, so wheezy.'....Luckily it made me laugh not cough but it was touch and go for a couple of minutes. Ah the joys of C24k!!

Well done on completing the first run of week 6. I hate to have to say 'I told you so' but....I told you that you could do it. Pleased that you could see the funny side of the music - it's a bit dire at times. Good luck with run 2 and best wishes.

Well done on completing. I never would have thought about the songs I don't really listen to the words.

I'm the complete opposite to you mustgetthin. I concentrate really hard on the beat and lyrics so I haven't got room in my head to think about my achy bits, how far I've still got to run and how out of breath I'm getting. Lol x
