10k pb hills and hills

race 3 done had a very hard race yesterday due to the pack going off like the clappers and worse still hill after hill meadows woods and more hills only road was half k at the end the slowest pace i went was 7.37 i had a great time dont get me wrong but i just could not get my breathing right ive really got to stop smoking on nights out got a chip time 45.55 but i forgot to stop the garmin as i was sucking up air after doing the sprint finish came in 150th frm 955 my knee seems fine now im on anti inflams and the running is going well again next race wimpole hall 10k happy running all

Well done on your race! I know what you mean about hills. Don't we all just hate em!

Good news on the knee. I've cut down on the amount of milk I drink to help with the inflammatory knees and ankles.

thanks misswobble physio on thursday but it seems alot better just have the one pain killer a day and 1 anti inflam ,i think it was just doing too many miles . i will try the milk thing as well thanks and happy running

well it sounds like hard going to do hills, i've hardly done any yet so i'm very impressed- thats an amazing time for 10k you should be really pleased with your placing! Well done :)

thanks aliboo im a very happy chappy next ones in may and more hills i will be running around a national trust estate wimpole hall so im going to have to practice

thanks no excuse lucky for me ive been knocking time of my runs all week i had a 46.02 for 6.17 miles so i knew i would be fast but not that fast
