im a zombie

too much running last week and have been like a zombie for the last two days these were my runs last wk hm sunday 2x5k monday weds 9.3m thurs7.4m fri7.5m sat2x5k sun7.3 boy did i have fun but i never read the signs of over training going back to day on day off ,got a 10k in april and no half m till june its easy to get carried away sometimes . ive had my rest back out tomorrow happy running all

  • cheers panther yes ive been on a roll and over doing it ,but its when i stop i fall apart bit will slow down 3 wks till 10k plenty of time happy running your ways

  • Oh Moger!! Time to rest those Duracell legs of yours!! Admirable but imagine how would feel if you couldn't run for whatever reason. You know what you are capable of achieving now so there is no need for reaffirmation daily. I did my first 8k yesterday and loved it! My breathing was great and I could have gone further but my hips were telling me a different story! Enjoying the rest day today and would love to reach my 10 k goal very soon. Good luck and althletes' need rest too!

  • thanks carole had yesterday off feeling much better ,i had a swim after work so im out tonight for a gentle run . and start training for 10 k next wk .good luck with the 10k it sounds you will be there very soon :)
