My ipad won't let me download the podcasts - and I don't have an MP3 player - how can I learn about the couch to 5k routine?

Do you have a smart phone? There are various c25k apps for Android phones and iPhone out there. Saying that, I gave up on the app last week and just use my watch now as someone suggested it on here - less stuff to carry around and I find it less irritating :)

I printed off this: tombenninger.com/files/2011... and just set my watch so it beeps at each interval.

Thankyou for your reply - the chart looks useful. I really wanted to go running today so I just counted to 60 each time, but I could set my iPhone like you have done. That's really useful thanks again.

You want it on your phone, not your ipad, so you take it along and she tells you what to do and says encouraging things. You can listen before you go, but there really isnt anythng there telling you anymore about it than you can read grt from the NhS website. Did you watch the video there?

Have downloaded the podcast onto my phone! For some reason thought I had to download onto my computer and then transfer to my phone - honestly!!!! Now my only problem will be to not get run down by passing cars on the little lane I will be running on whilst listening to Laura

Once you are out, maybe you will spot the paths away from roads where other runners are, if any!

Good luck!

Another option would be something like a "Gym Boss" (I think that's the right name?) device - a small battery powered timer you can attach to your arm where you set your intervals and it chimes/vibrates each time you need to change. They seems pretty cheap - e.g. about £15 on Amazon UK. If you don't fancy lugging a smartphone around on a run then this would probably be a good option.

I downloaded the podcasts onto my pc and then transferred them to my smartphone and run with that - I just had to buy some sports headphones (£2.99 in Lidl again this week) as the in the ear type ones that came with my phone kept falling out. I have to have Laura telling me what to do and I need the music beat to run to.
