I found it really easy, although I had sciatica yesterday which worried me. I rested and today I feel a lot better. I do feel as though the minute run doesn't feel like a minute, it feels shorter, conversely the 90 seconds walk seems a lot longer, I haven't timed them, but has anyone else noticed this?

I guess it is getting easier then, for the timings to feel reversed! I will look forward to that. But first i have to last a whole 60 seconds!

Hi Philholly. I have also just finished W1, sort of. I skipped W1R2 pending purchase of proper shoes. Like you I think I must be quite a bit fitter than many starting C25K and found the 1st runs quite easy. I naturally walk quickly and my brisk walk is very fast which meant that I did 4.5km on both my W1 outings according to RunKeeper .
I have looked up my local ParkRun and am keen to do a 5k with them as soon as I am able. I dont want to wait another 8 weeks and am wondering if there is any safe way for those of us starting from a less unfit base to contract the C25K program? I am thinking of going to a 6 day week and starting W2 after only 1 rest day. That will reduce the program by 9 days overall. And I guess I could do a 5k ParkRun with walk/run intervals as soon as I hit 5k on my regular C25K outings?
I would be interested to hear from graduates or anyone further along the program who tried to progress more quickly. What did they do and how well did it work?
