Seriously, 20 minutes? Did run 2 today and those 2 lots of 8 minutes were hard...Not helped by snotty nose and wind... Due to go out on Friday for run 3 and am seriously doubting I can run for 20 mins non-stop. Did anyone else stick at run 2 for a bit?
week 5 run 3 jitters, shall I do run 2 again? - Couch to 5K

No - really Just Do It ! Because you really really can. Take it easy and surprise yourself !
You can do this...don't put so much pressure on your self....you've come this far you can go further....slow and steady. ..listen to your body...YOU GOT THIS!!!!!
kutch - this is how it is: nearly everyone of us who posts here thought exactly the same thing on 5/2 The leap to 20 mins from 2 x 8 seems utterly ludicrous proposition. And you know what, to our utter astonishment ,we put on our headphones , listened to Laura ...and just did it.
Honestly, just go for it...you will amaze yourself.
If you've done all the runs up to this one then you will do it fine. Start slow and steady and you will get there! A lot of this is in the mind so don't knock yourself - you CAN do it, believe me!
Yes, you can do it! Have faith in the plan and don't give up! As Laura says, the biggest hurdle is psychological now you've come so far. I doubted it too, but was pleasantly surprised at how manageable (not exactly easy) it was. And the jump to 25 minutes is ok too!
Go for it kutch, you can do it
You are capable of doing way more than you think. C25k has brought your body to the point where you can cope with the demands, now it is your brain's turn. So put aside those doubts and go for it! Good luck and enjoy the glow.
Am tuning in on Friday to see how you got on! Go on, surprise yourself! Just let it happen.
Hi, I'm going to be doing it too on fri. I think slow and steady might just do it.
That was a bit psychological jump for me - whenever I tried running before I always stopped on or before 10 mins, until doing C25K I never realised if you push through it, your breathing actually gets easier & you seem to get "on a roll" - you are ready for it!!
I wouldn't recommend running with wind though - as per your opening post!!! :- ) made me smile
