week 1 run 2 done again.... (repeating first week)...so its cold and pouring down with rain and after a űber crappy day at work....I thought a run would do me good...... I went and did it.....didnt cover much....around the 3km mark....but my heart wasnt in it tonight. it just all felt like hard work amd painful....I think I was over thinking things instead of relaxing and just going for it. roll on Thursday. .... will hopefully be in a better place to do it.

Hey betcha, I repeated week 1 as I couldn't achieve the 60 second runs (overweight and had stopped a 30 year smoking habit a month before). That was last October, I'm now running between 4K and 5K three to four times a week. (Not exactly fast but passable). After my repeat of week 1, I sailed through the rest of the programme without faltering. Some runs are a plod and not enjoyable at the time for many reasons, work, weather, family, the list goes on. However you'll always feel a sense of achievement on completion. Just dig deep, keep plodding on and go for it. You'll always find encouragement on here. I know I did and still do. Good luck

Hi, i repeated week 1 mainly out of fear! I too Continued the rest of the programme, slowly but surely without repeating any weeks and can now run (very slowly) 5k, all runs are different, but it's a Whole lot better than still being on the couch!

I think you deserve credit for running when you probably didn't feel like it, so well done for getting out there. Put the run behind you, you did great. Next time it'll be easier.

Nothing wrong with repeating a week if you feel it's the best option for you. All the best with your next few runs. Best wishes.
