I went out and did week one, run one, despite the frosty paths, felt great when I got back home. Have a long way to go both in losing weight and getting fit but it's a step in the right direction.

Good for you :-) I have just finished W1 for my return to C25K and this time round am going to Weight Watchers too so by the end of this year I'm hoping to be a whole new person :-)

Well done on making that first trip out, in the bracing weather too. Good on you, all the best with the program, it is brilliant! :)

Hi there! So glad to see another starter here - perhaps we can help keep each other going with the programme :) I just started week 1, run 1 on Sunday and just did my second run last night, despite the cold, dark and drizzle. I found it slightly easier second time round and didn't have the same aches afterwards. This is all in a well-intentioned effort for me to try to lose some weight and improve my general fitness too - and I already feel better! However, having started this in January I think the hardest part is going to be finding the will to go out there when the weather is not so great. Good luck!!!

Well done to you too. I am not at work tomorrow so plan to do my second run in the morning, I agree with you the difficulty is going to be motivating myself to go out on a dark night after a day at work. However, I feel quite determined, and so hope this will help. Let me know how your going, be good to compare notes so to speak.

Yay for you. The first run is always the most daunting but the sense of achievement when you get home is fantastic. Well done for getting out there. Good luck.
