That was a tough run this morning. I took a different route to try and help but it was a slog. I so wanted to stop and walk for a bit. Although listening to my own music, I kept hearing Laura say this is the point that really helps your stamina and fitness if you can push on.
That thought kept me going, just.

Thank you. I'm starting to believe I may be able to find that final 2 minutes from somewhere. At present I have no ambition to run any longer than 30 minutes though!
Congratulations You will find that extra 2 mins I was like you and only ever wanted to be able to run 30 mins and then I discovered the parkrun I hate to tell you that sounds like you have caught the running bug and unlike the flu it doesnt go away! Who knows what your next goal might be Remember it was only 22 runs ago you were prob delighted you were able to run for 1 min . I' ll look out for your graduation post
Lol, it didn't feel like I'd caught the running bug this morning - more the running grumble. But after a few hrs, I do get the pleasure from getting fitter feeling. 22 runs...5 to go.
when I say "I kept hearing Laura say.." I meant 'in my head' not actually through a pod cast. This was the sort of thing she was saying in week 6/7,as the runs got longer.
I listened to the NHS podcasts until week 7 then felt the need for more stimulating music so jumped ship and just downloaded my own music choices from amazon. The nhs podcasts are good - encouragement and tips and music.
