Hi there, Im on week 8 of the c25k, and I seem to be able to run on hilly ground, when I run on flat ground, i get terrible calf cramps and shin splits. Does anyone else have this problem!

I know my knees suffer when I do too much running downhill.

Have you tried wearing compression socks? They helped my shins no end.

And I just wonder if you've had gait analysis? Would better fitting shoes help your shin/calf problems?
