I'm hoping to start tomorrow. Not sure if I will be able to as right now I'm aching all over from the amount of walking i have done today and my ankle really hurts from it.
Before the run I'll be getting myself weighed at boots, then again at the halfway point and at the end of the 9 weeks to see what difference it makes.
I'll be posting more often to keep a record of how things are going and hope it will help others that are thinking of starting but may not be sure about it. It's certainly helped me to read from other people how running has had a positive impact on them.

great to see you are starting, one important thing is to listen to your body and rest when it tells you. other than that - go for it, this is an excellent programme and as long as you follow it you will be fine.
Well done for starting on the plan. You may want to consider measuring yourself too before you start. People often find the plan makes more of a difference to their size than their weight (something to do with the densties of muscle and fat that I don't quite understand!). All I know is I've moved up a notch on my jeans belt and I wish I'd thought to get the tape measure out at the start. Enjoy your runs and don't worry if you have good ones and bad - we all do!
I'll reiterate what Hennith has just said. Measure yourself, don't get caught up in weight loss. You'll lose inches way before you lose pounds. And you don't want to get demoralised. Measure your waist, hips and thighs and check again in a few weeks. You may find you don't need a tape measure cos you need new clothes, but may not have actually lost much weight. Good luck!
Keep at it , you WILL get there,no matter how hard it seems at the moment , also you mentioned you have a young baby , that also takes a while to recover from ! You have started , that's a big hurdle !!
Not much time to recover when you also have a 2 year old to keep up with... Mind you, even just hours after having him I felt so much better than I have in months.
