So I did it! Week 9 Run 3 is in the bag and I'm a graduate!
I had such an enjoyable graduation run too. I went out quite early this morning: the sun was shining, it was perfect running temperature and there was a light breeze. I exchanged a lovely "morning" with a pair of runners and a kind dog walker stopped to let me go by; I love my friendly fellow Yorkshire folk!
The best part was that I did 4k, which is a record for me. So overall, it really was the graduation run that I had hoped for and I really enjoyed it.
I don't have a long term plan now; I'm going to take it a week at a time and see how I feel. This week I want to make my own playlist and do another three lots of 30 minutes, possibly trying to go a little bit further. I expect I will also download the C25K+ podcasts.
At the risk of this sounding like a graduation acceptance speech, I'd really like to thank everyone on this forum for their inspirational posts, which have undoubtedly motivated and guided me, especially those who replied to my posts - you are all the tops!
And finally, thanks of course to Laura!
