Have been away so you may already know this. Was grocery shopping this morning and Lidl had really good base layer mens running tops and leggings. Also have a waist belt and gloves & socks. Sadly it all seemed to be mens sizes.
Heads up - Lidl have good running gear this week - Couch to 5K
Heads up - Lidl have good running gear this week
Lots of cycling gear in Aldi too
And a good range of running gear in Aldi UK on 10 October too.
Thank you Oldgirl for looking after us like this! I will go and take a look.
Review for the interested runners: I bought the Aldi running accessoires in Aldi Germany this week. The caps are relatively small fitted, so I got the largest size (it was L-XL... and it still doesn't cover my forehead (which is ok for me as I don't like it)). I also got the gloves (M) and the headband (also largest size, good choice though!). I didn't use them outside yet as it is still too warm but the fabric feels ok and not too warm. Oh and the gloves go up high enough to be put into the sleeves.
I'm not 100% sure if they are exactly the same in UK as in Germany but the picture in the link looks exactly the same.
Thanks for the heads up...just popped along and stocked up. Running socks and base layer top and bottoms, bring winter on
What are then men's sizes like? Thinking of getting some for my partner, he's 6ft and usually a medium.
I bought my normal size L and I'm 6'4 and they are fine, bit short on arms but I assumed that it's because it is an under layer. Also remember they are supposed to feel snug and they do.
Phil, I remember you buying some Lidl/Aldi(?) Spiderman leggings. Were they any good? Are they the same ones that are on offer now?
They were good and I'll definitely be wearing them more in autumn more and they were compression type. Whereas the current offering is really a warm base layer and they feel good, close to the skin but good range of motion. So for me that will be on the very cold winter days I think.
