2nd run of week nine. I took my run at a nice steady pace this morning as i haven't been at my best the past couple of weeks.

I felt myself getting into my stride after the first 1.5 k but by 4k i was dead on my legs?? I think i picked my pace up too much and tired myself out which of course Laura has warned us about sooo many times. I had to brisk walk for a couple of seconds before i could run again.I have mapped my run though and will set out to do it better next time at a more steady pace and for a bit longer.

good luck for tomorrow. You are nearly there, and you must feel very proud of yourself.Im up to day 2week 8tomorrow,and wonder if I will ever be able to run 5km, as I'm so slow, but Laura is right and you must slow down.Apparently speed will come later x

You'll get there. I'm doing a slightly different programme (0-5K in 8 weeks with 28, 30 and 35 minute runs during the final week) and did my final run this morning. I always feel that I run really slowly but my shoe sensor tells me that with the five minute warm up and five minute cool down I actually covered over 6K so I reckon that I must have run close to 5K in the 35 minutes, even at what seems a slow pace to me :-). I found the final run easier than the previous one, even though it was 5 minutes longer, because I knew it was the final one and that if I could do it I would have acheived a goal I couldn't have dreamed of two months ago.
