I never thought I could but I did,and the legs aren't hurting as much as when I did the 20mins.Moving on to week 7.Dont know what that is like as I haven't looked, but I will.
Woohoo!I did it and ran 25mins.Laura says that... - Couch to 5K
Woohoo!I did it and ran 25mins.Laura says that I'm a runner now.I did it on the treadmill and it was boring, but what a sense of achievement
Well done! I have this run tomorrow - looking forward to officially becoming a runner.
Well done, your well on the way to becoming a graduate
Congratulations I will be plodding through that one at the weekend looking forward to being called a runner
Week 7 is a 25 min run, which you know you can do!
The weight is really tricky I'm sure you are doing what I am doing swapping fat poundage for muscle, try doing your inches I have lost a total of 25 since I started doing this even though the weight hasn't moved much. X
You are there! The difference between weeks 7, 8 and 9 is miniscule - it's pure psychology. If you can run 20mins you can run 30. Go for it!
Don't worry about speed I could be overtaken by slugs. I think that come with the increase in fitness many if the people I know who did this haven't managed 5k until well after they graduate
Well done I am du to do the 25 minute run this week. And I agree running on a treadmill is boring but hey ho it getting cold and wet outside
I am 65 by the way
Well done, it is really a wonderful feeling when she says you can now call yourself a runner x
It certainly is.What are you up to? X
doing post graduation runs by restarting at week1 run 1 but instead of walking and running am running it all but slowly running on the walking bit and quicker running on the running bit, if you know what I mean LOL x
Fantastic A1nsworth, that's great news! Good luck with W7.
Thankyou so much. What are you up to?
Running twice a week for 30 minutes, and for third run of the week I am doing the same as katee, to try to improve my speed. I think it's working - my last run was further and faster than I've done before.
