Wow!!!! After years of not exercising and in fact hating exercising I today completed my first 10km. I ran all of it... I was very surprised to find myself overtaking thinner, what I would call fit people and finished with an ok time. Thank you so much Laura and NHS couch to 5k. Without these podcasts if still be on the sofa.

How did you find the weather in the Bay today - was it very windy? (I live in the Vale) I've been thinking of all the Cardiff 10k'ers all day, especially while slogging my way through my 5.5 mile run this morning. I'm doing the Swansea 10k in 2 weeks.

Hey Good luck with the Swansea 10k. The Cardiff 10k didn't go via the bay. The half does. After today I'm feeling that I may have bitten off more than I can chew with signing up to the half marathon.
