Above all, do not lose your desire to run...

Allow me some poetic license here (apologies to Soren Kierkegaard)...

"Above all, do not lose your desire to run. Every day I run myself into a state of well-being and jog away from every illness. I have walked myself into my best thoughts, and I know of no thought so burdensome that one cannot walk away from it. "

and one more

"Ever wonder where you'd end up if you took your dog for a walk and never once pulled back on the leash?" by Robert Brault

Week 8 run 2 tonight for me - I'm finding it very tough now but I will finish, yes I will, and then I will do it again until I find it easier and then I will do it faster.

I like the first text - must get a version of it made into a t-shirt or running top.

Good luck with your run later.

I like your own words the best SVR28, "I'm finding it very tough now but I will finish, yes I will, and then I will do it again until I find it easier and then I will do it faster."

These are my plans exactly.

Good luck with your run tonight. I did w8r2 yesterday :)

Wise words - the longer runs are quite tough at first - just dig in and they will get better. You are building strength and stamina with every run. Good luck
