having had a series of mishaps...

I left the keys in the ignition of my car in a car park ( In my defence it is a very very dirty skoda, in and out)..

I left 30 quid in the mouth of the cashpoint....

Todays mishap was dropping my lovely phone in the car park outside Tiverton hospital- the screen totally smashed. The lovely lady from 02 said a man would collect it tomorrow and then they would assess the damage, then send another one back if I was to be believed ( 7 days......7 days!!!!!)....grrrrrrrrr

My last 3 runs have been really hard going. Yesturday I decided to rock along with my new Ministry of sound Ibiza mash up. Great tunes but my pace was all wrong. I really needed silky Steve to keep me on track. Too fast too soon, I should have held back. However I can't have him for 7 days now so I'd better sing...or get Leon to be my Silky Steve...

Ok, to get to the point I have felt c*** all day at work due to the mishap and various other life's troubles, and I logged on to the forum and just read a few posts...and it has so cheered me up. Just being part of this community, contributing, having a laugh ( sorry Dan I'm sure that Groin strain is really bad...). It really helps when life is difficult.

This forum has given me so much and I wanted to thank you all for being there and giving your support.

That happened to me when I posted the pic through my iPad. I had to delete the photo from my iPad to stop it from attaching itself to every post!

I totally agree with you about this forum. I don't post much myself, but I get so much out of it, it's so uplifting and inspiring!

Keep posting yourself Juicyju, you're a joy to read and an inspiration to me! :)

I'm sooooo pleased my groin has brought a smile to your face JuJu. You're not the first lady and you certainly won't be the last! HAhahaha!!

Sorry to hear of your mishap(s). I've left money in a cash machine before but AMAZINGLY got it back! It was in a supermarket and I rang them as soon as I got home and when I went back a very cheery lady handed me my cash! Totes amaze flaps.

Are you sure you didn't leave the keys in your car on purpose? I've heard of weird ways of getting rid of a skoda, but not that one... ;-)

I suppose I'd better add a "RUNNING" comment seeing as this is a running forum......I CAN'T RUN AT THE MOMENT! There, I've said it. My limp is causing hilarity at work - I think they like seeing me hold my groin as I walk. I'm hoping it won;t be too long until I can get out there again and keep my stunning figure to the proportions it and the general public deserve.

Until I run again.....

If I could get rid of my dirty skoda I so so would ...I prefer our Audi but I pulled off the handreak so not suitable for all the driving I do. I bet you are loving all the attention at work, presumably you have told them a suitable 'Bear Grylls stylie' story?

If it helps, I have a very sore foot, its been getting worse over the last 5 runs and I'm just ignoring it for now but its really stiff in the morning... You take care and get yourself 'out there' again soon.

Sorry to hear of all your traumas. Something good must be just round the corner. I was thinking of you this morning, when I was running through woodland on the North Downs (visiting my mum) - my hair was flying all over the place, and I thought, "Now what I need is an orange sweatband like juicyju." :)
