Had my first pt session today. It was was an assessment to see where to start. He said I’m very flexible and strong back and shoulders. He also asked me almost straight away have I had a knee injury in the last few month as my right leg isn’t as strong. I pulled a ligament in my knee last October. He said it probably hasn’t got back to normal yet so going to work on that. He also told me my cardio fitness is that of a 30-40 year old....I can live with that at 53!! 🤣🤣

Haha, still a snail 🤣. But he said that’s why I’m struggling to ride the bike. He reckons couple of months and I’ll be cycling around 😊

That is really good to know that you have a PT (Personal Trainer ) now Shelly, especially the part he told you that your cardio fitness is that of someone 20 years younger than you are.

I wonder what my cardio fitness is, I'm almost 73, run and cycle a bit, do a lot of exercises etc, I once did a test on the Internet regarding age, exercises, the results did say I was younger than my age, but by how much I am not sure.

That’s great... the results of your hard work on that cardio assessment is brilliant... well done Shelley.

He obviously knows what he’s doing too... hope that he really helps your onward journey.

Yes he’s pretty good, he actually trains the pt’s at the gym I went to with my 12 week gp referral back in August!
