I am presuming you all got an e-mail the other day about next year's challenge? I did but haven't signed up yet!
Calling all 5 x 50ers for 2014: I am presuming... - Couch to 5K
Calling all 5 x 50ers for 2014
Hi Delia I didn't get but I didn't do the last one due to injury. Can you tell me the date it starts please?
I didn't get an email either probably for the same reason as Oldgirl; I didn't do it last year either. I'd be interested to hear the details for next year. I'm going to register I think. Here's the link for anyone else wanted to give it a go:
Pam
I likewise didn't get an email, for the same reason, but want to give it a go.
Hi Delia! Thanks for the heads-up and thanks PamJK for the link. I'd love to stir up some participation on this side of the pond. We certainly have a huge running community. I'll start to spread the word.
Hi Delia. I was going to register on 5 x 50 but there are two options for joining the group for C25K. Do you know whether we should join "NHS COUCH TO 5K" or "NHS Couch to 5K (C25K)". (How hard can this be?!)
I suggest you/we join in March 2014. THEN, I think Sue created a NHS C25K Group within the site. It probably doesn't make much sense to register now. x Delia.
Got the email, but have not even thought about signing up yet, it's ages away
Anyway look out next year as I have a Bike now to ramp up those none run days
I did, Mut March 2014 is too far away to contemplate. And their 2014 slogan "50 days of fit" is just too awful to repeat.
I've just checked through my emails and junk and no invite for me either
I will be signing up though!
Thanks for the heads up - I will definitely be part of next year's event
Thank you for this - I am aiming to do it next year - didn't get to it in 2013! I have registered on the site in the hope they will keep reminding me as the time gets nearer!
Like bearpadi, I think I've just registered - identical hope that I'll be contacted nearer the 2014 date. Couldn't do 2013 as was still a newbie and hadn't completed C25K at that time. Will pull out all stops to prepare for the challenges
Cheers, Linda
I'll be doing it again next year, certainly. I felt really flat and demotivated once it finished and it took me a few weeks to realise I was running three times a week just to prove to myself I could! I bought a Fitbit a few weeks ago and it's great at making sure I do my 10,000 steps a day though sometimes that's tough and I end up walking around the living room whilst watching the TV!
