W9R2.... A new personal best

So I'd like to say to anyone who is considering giving up..... PLEASE DON'T. I nearly did in week 7... But I am so glad that I didn't. Tonight I managed to keep on running beyond the 30 minutes and in fact managed 35! So chuffed. My distance was 5.83km in 41mins 56sec so pleased.

I owe my new found fitness to Laura and the NHS couch to 5km as I really would never have done anything like this before.

I graduate on Thursday! Then I need to start the training for the 10km in September and the half marathon in October!!! :-)

Fantastic to hear your determination is paying off with great results and it's really inspiring to hear other people's stories. I'm just going for my W7R3 today and still finding it really tough and don't feel like I'll ever be able to really feel like a runner, but it's really good to hear that other people have felt the same and then finally seen that light at the end of the tunnel.
