Well I got a new route for next few weeks, I'll be able to measure progress by how far at end I have to walk home! I got a stitch at 16mins but it soon passed, hadn't realised my route had a few small steep hills in it until I was on them, its different when you drive it, however I ran right to the end and you can certainly say I am running now! I had a great run, with new shoes and new route, yes I have worn out the old ones in 7 weeks, I've also lost a stone in weight, 14lbs, still another 33 to go to be a supposed healthy weight, I'm in size 16 trousers too from a 20!
