Week 5 Run 3 - in shock...

I've just completed W5R3 and seriously can't believe it!!!

5 weeks ago I struggled with running a minute without getting out of breath and everything ached like crazy. Laura is one incredible woman to have got me running for 20 minutes 5 weeks later, something I have never done before in my life.

I did find it tough by 15 minutes, my breathing was very hard and I could feel pain in my legs. I know it was a very slow jog by the end but I managed to keep going to the end.

A week ago I posted on here about my apprehension of W5R3 and there were so many supportive people who told me it was possible - thank you to all of you for your encouragement. The support and advice on here has really driven me to keep going :)

On to Week 6 now!

Well done on week 5. Its a big achievement running solidly for 20 minutes given that all the runs before have had walking holidays in between. There should be a Twenty Minuter's badge really.
