Week 7 - Run 2 - Slip Sliding Away!

Off I went to the woods again :) This time I opted for the High road circular route. No technical issues this time, but we have had a fair amount of rain so it was a bit sloppy underfoot in places. It lashed down all the way round which was quite refreshing, and kept them nasty horse flies at bay, (they don't taste very nice you know). I really struggled in the first half as it was mostly uphill, and my nose was bunged up. I was glad to get to the mostly downhill with plenty of flat half. I didn't cover as much distance this time clocking in at 3.51k but I did get plenty of altitude so I reckon that's ok, and I do look the part covered in mud splatter :)

Right off for a well earned beer!

:)

Kev.

I too have a route starting uphill. The first time involved a lot of talking to myself to get up it but it made the next time easier as I knew what was coming especially anticipating the downhill bit!!!
