Starting C25k

I'm starting the C25k programme tomorrow morning. I don't know what to expect as I haven't been physically active since school. Hopefully I will finish the first run of the week!

Good luck. Take it easy, slow jog is usual. I couldn't believe that I've managed it but did first post grad run! Trust in Laura and you will make it too!

Go in with a positive attitude, stay slow and steady and listen to your body. I know by the end of the first podcast I was horrified by how unfit I was because I struggled so much in the last section. But stick with it - you will make progress really quickly if you follow her advice!

Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

I started this week too and was really apprehensive as I'm very overweight and generally try to avoid exercise! I did day 2 yesterday and I can't believe I'm actually looking forward to day 3! I'm taking it really slowly and my running is little more than a shuffle but I made it to the end without stopping. Wahoo! Good luck and enjoy!

Good luck with the start of your C25K. It's a fantastic feeling as you get used to it and make progress. Enjoy.
