5 day break, restart from week 5 or repeat?

I've completed w4r3 and so far have kept exactly to the program albeit more shuffling then running! Due to work comitments I will be unable to run for the next 5 days, should I still go on to week 5? This is going to happen again in a fortnight, how do I avoid loosing momentum?

I've had a few breaks inbetween runs the longest being about a week and I went back and did the last run I did again and then moved on. Depending on how you feel i'd do W4R3 again and then move on :)

I would just keep going with the programme and see how you get on. I've had a few times when breaks have been longer and it's been fine

I was going to ask this same question actually. I'm currently on week 4 and next week is week 5. However after that I am going to Glastonbury Festival (so will be doing a lot of walking anyway) for 6 days. I have read about how notorious weeks 5 and 6 are though so am worried about losing momentum.

My youngest darling son could hardly stand after Glastonbury, I'd go back to the couch ;) NO NO only joking. Try the run you should have been doing and if its a struggle go back to the previous week, there's no harm in repeating any of the runs if your not comfortable to move on.

Weeks 5&6 do seem to be sticking points for lots of us here. I got stuck on week 5 last summer due to taking breaks (holidays etc) then trying to repete the whole week before moving on but then something else would come up so I'd be back to repeating again... Don't fall into the same trap! I would repeat the last run you did before the break then as long as you feel ok move on. That way you won't lose the momentum of the programme.

Keep at it!
