As I'm always so hot I brought a pair of karrimor loose fit running shorts (with mesh 'pants' inside) the thing is they kept riding up and i spent the whole time pulling them down:( is it because they were cheap? has anyone found loose fit shorts that don't ride up? I did wear pants under them was this the problem?

I have the same problem, different brand (Adidas), but they always creep up my inner thigh area. Sometimes I yank them out if no one's around, but it sort of ruins the run!! I've tried with and without pants, same thing :(

I have a pair of Saucony and a pair of Nike loose fit shorts and both stay in place. I really enjoy running in short shorts (so much so, that I wore then when out for a walk a week ago). They are so light and my legs feel totally 'free'. They are both hang loose around my thigh and don't cling or ride up at all.

The Nike are £16.20 on Wiggle: wiggle.co.uk/nike-ladies-te...

The Saucony are like these, but I got them for £8.50 on ebay: tinyurl.com/lst7uuf

I do have the same problem, so wear trunk style underwear which helps.

Thanks swanscot i can feel a shopping spree coming on AGAIN although I was wondering of its because my legs are 'curvy', (sorry alcopop & running wild if you have skinny legs ;) )

Yes me too, they look like a different cut compared to mine. My legs are the only skinny thing about me :D and thanks to swanscot.
