W5 R3 done!!!!!

I have sort of transferred from another couch to 5k app to Laura half way through...went back from 6/2 ( 10/3/10 mins ) to the dreaded 20 mins.

What I have been missing! Loved Laura's encouragement and even the music....

Now, do I go onto wk 6 with Laura and do the intervals or do I skip to try a 25 minutes run.

You have no idea what fabulous music you're missing with Laura! ;-)

Lol but she is so encouraging I couldn't imagine running with anyone else. Maybe someone on w6 or w7 would give you a more informed answer though

Hey ladies, I loved Laura's encouragement too, but found the music a bit samey and tedious for the longer runs in weeks 7-9. So, once I'd heard Laura tell me that I was a runner - at the very end of the last run in W6 - I started using my own music and a watch ... and loving running even more! (Laura is less evident on the long run podcasts, anyway) If you have a good selection of your favourite tunes, you can find the stuff with a beat to suit your own running pace. Lots of luck both, you'll be graduating in next to no time :)

I truly enjoy the music. Nothing I'd play in the car or at home but it keeps me smiling for some reason while I'm running. "I've got two feet on the ground and my heart is something-something all around". LOL. What ever works for you is the ticket.

20 minutes non stop! I cant believe it. Even happier that I kept the same pace for the whole run...

gone from finding it a struggle to run for 60 seconds, to being able to run solidly for 20......

so near and yet so far attempts, I have completed the 20 minute run. Very slow but I don't care one...
