did the dreaded 20 minute run this morning. i completed it all without stopping, but i really struggled. is it meant to be easy for me now? i've read so many blogs where people have found this one easy and i was fighting with myself to not give up im proud of my will power though - i really felt like quitting numerous but i didn't so that has to be something right? anyway onto week 6 next. hope them demons stay away!

Congratulations! I'm tackling it on Monday ... and I'm nervous.
Congratulations! And I have never found any run easy (in week 7 now) - each one was tough but I just got through it. However, I can now run across the school playground and race the kids - result!!
I don't think it's meant to be easy, no. I don't remember it being easy, anyway! But every time you do it, it becomes less impossible, if that makes sense. And you may find that if you change your pace a bit - maybe a bit slower at the beginning, it may become less difficult - and maybe even enjoyable, after the first five or ten minutes. The first bit almost always seems to be hard, for some reason. Thinking about all the good it's doing you can help a bit, sometimes.
