Will I get there??

I have just completed W5r2. Listened to what is in store for my third run (gulp). I do find the first run the most difficult but my second 8 minutes not too bad. I am not looking forward to 20 minutes & am very unsure that I can do this . Has anyone else had this difficulty? Laura does say this run is a bit of a jump I should say so!

I did it this morning and it was fine. I was nervous about it but Laura says you are ready for it and she's right, the weeks you have done have built you up to. You will do it.

I', sure you will be fine. Good luck and enjoy the achievement.

I was terrified about this run but was pleasantly surprised by how achievable it was.

I would wish you luck but I have good faith you won't need it:)

Hey canary, I did the same run today, and also finished okay (think I prefer running evenings to be honest) but did also gulp at the thought of twenty mins and nearly talked myself into doing this run again. then thought will give the 3 run ago and give it my best shot !

It terrified me too, but I managed to find a route with pretty things to look at to distract me, and kept going, even when my 'jog' was being overtaken by people out for a stroll....

Just keep putting the next foot in front and it's alright :-)

I found it quite a big leap, but i was excited to see if I could actually do it, so the motivation helped me loads! As long as you make sure to start slowly and pace yourself, you should find that you'll be able to keep going for longer.

Good Luck, you'll feel great once you know you've done it!!!!

If you've managed the runs before it then you should be ready for this one. Just make sure you don't try to go too fast at the start. Really slow down until you are sure you are comfortable - it's always easier to speed up for the second part of the run if you still have something in the tank. you'll probably surprise yourself and really enjoy it :-).

I was so scared of this run but I did it this morning! Feeling so good! Just start slow and enjoy the run, I genuinely found it easier to keep going without intervals. Good luck!
