Motivation please?

I'm due to do week 6 run 3 tonight which sounds like it might be a struggle anyway, but now my running partner has pulled out and I'll be going on my own!

This may not sound that bad but up until now she has been by my side :-) I already have thoughts crossing my mind to put it off for another day.......

Help please! I need a kick up the bum to get me out the door!!

GO OUT AND RUN!! Lol. I don't know for you, but if I begin to delay a workout only once because "I'm too tired", "it's too cold" or "my brother won't come with me this time", I know I'll start to find excuses for any workouts to come. It's not as if you can't go because of an injury! Remember that you do it for yourself, and for you only. Of course, having someone running by your side is nice but the health and mind benefits are entirely your own. :-)

YAY, I'm with DavD on this one! Where have your original intentions gone, eh? YOU wanted to get fit and YOU wanted to lose weight! Even if your pal had similar intentions, its unlikely that the two of you would always be in sync with opportunities to get out there! You've graduated and proven that you're a runner, so take the opportunity to run and have a great time communing with yourself and the great outdoors. Half hours alone are bonus and bliss for young mums ... Enjoy them whenever you can. LOL. xx ;)

Heard somewhere that if you put your running gear on you'll go. Never failed me yet, good luck.

You know you can do this run, your a graduate, so just put your gear on and go. You will feel so smug after.
