Mojo's coming back ...

just completed W5R3 20 minute run and feeling good ;) ... back on my BP tablets and finding it so much easier again (one of them does have a warning that it would give a positive result in a dope test!!!)

Goes to show that C25K is not just a fluke as even second time round I am improving.

Happy running x

Great news! Just don't win any races so they won't test you :) I'm so glad you're back and going so well :)

thanks Anniemorph :) Have been puffing through the past couple of weeks and now feel back in my stride ... less puffing and more enjoyment!

Great to see your mojo is back! Just out of professional curiosity, which BP tablet is that then? I had no idea one of them could do that?!

Indapamide - it says athletes should be aware that it contains an active ingredient that may give a positive reaction in doping tests ... does that mean anything to you ... and now intrigued as to what you do :) think though it is the ramipril and the institn that help more with the running as feel I get the oxygen round better and not battling 210/105 BP when on them!!

Just now know I need the tablets and I definitely need my running to make me feel this good :)

Gosh! Was that your BP pre tablets? The running must have helped bring it down as well though? What is it now?

Mine was edging up to being raised and I have a strong family history of heart disease which is one of the reasons I started this - I checked it at work today and it's 109/73 - I'm a very happy bunny :D (and also a practice nurse ;-) )

..Yes it got to 235/120 before we realised there was a problem and just a chance opticians comment of get your BP checked ..I went to Drs for something to help migraines/vomiting and discovered a problem then...... now it is hovering at just above the 140/95 when on all tablets and running ... and yes running definitely helps.Just waiting results on last test and hope to steer clear of 4th tablet ...so running for my life in reality!

Not surprised you are a happy bunny ...that's a really good BP :)
