So after whining a bit about aching after W1R1 I've just had a lovely run in the sun along the quay, and didn't felt like I struggled because I reminded myself to not go too fast. Apart from the last section where four of the uni rugby players were walking past and I somewhat increased the pace slightly..!
So I got to thinking about setting myself a little goal, and am going to spend the evening finding myself a little 5k run to do in a couple of months. All things going well I should have finished C25K then. And I do love it when a plan comes together.

Good idea! You can walk it now, then you'll really have something to compare with - even if you don't get up to 5k in 30 minutes (most people don't - average seems to be about 4k, and 3k isn't that uncommon!) you'll definitely be able to do it faster by the end of week 9, and then you'll have another target when you're wondering how you will manage without Laura! Or maybe you'll be one of the speed-merchants that do break the 5k in 30 barrier!
