I did my W1R1 this morning and have felt desperately sleepy all afternoon. I was looking forward to feeling energized!

Hi Beek, yes I was for the first week, then I felt OK. (I'm finishing week three tomorrow). Good luck

I still sleep very well on the days I have been for a run!

Absolutely -- weeks 1 - 3 I was sleepy all day long. And yes, I still sleep like a log on my running days.

I'm sleepy... struggled to get out of bed today, went for my run then worked a late shift; now waiting for washing machine to finish as I'm away at daughters for the weekend...

Got in about midnight; same as yesterday (cycled before work yesterday, fell sleep on the settee last night, woke up at 2.40am.) Promised myself I will stay awake tonight, and go to bed as soon as the washing is done!

I think this may be the 5x50 effect on top of shift work! Have definitely slept better since I have been c25k'ing though :-)

Not surprising! You deserve to be sleepy - you have a tough enough regime on top of C25K!

I'm still waiting for this energy to kick in. Is it merely a fantasy?

I went for my W2R2 yesterday and I've been battling to stay awake all day! I too am waiting to feel more energetic :)

I gave in to it today and slept for 3 hours. That's after 10 hours sleep last night too! I should probably battle harder to stay awake. Wish it was bed time now! (20.00)
