zephyr valve’s

I have severe emphysema, I am scheduled to get zephyr valves put in on the15th of October 2024. Has anyone else had this procedure, and if so what was the outcome. I can only find testimonials on the zephyr website. I would like unbiased information

hello, and good morning, am pleased you are at the stage to have your surgery, but sorry you are at severe like myself, firstly I have heard this surgery is good for persons who I met at my Respiratory group , I too have severe, 62 , and very restrictive to what I can do on a daily basis, I have been referred to the Royal Brompton for a referral for LVR /valves can you share with me and others what was your journey to get to the stage you are now at .
