A night out

When I was fit and healthy a good night out was easily planned and exicuted .not so now I'm afraid but still very much doable with the right planning and a bit of foresite. We still when we can go for a meal first b4 going onto a northern soul venue .hopefully the entertainment and enjoyment outweighs the trouble and breathlessness just getting ready to go out , so far it has .

Hopefully everyone if they can still tries?to lead as normal life as they had b4 this?blight afflicted us , yes?I'm aware that's wishful thinking but if I can do this so can you.

I used to be able to dance for 4 straight records a while ago which has slowly diminished to 1 dance and a soft shoe shuffle at that no more the athletic dancer ns once required back in the 70s .

My main reason is to tell everyone to push push push even though we feel like we have run a marathon just going tk the kitchen

On balance I still receive mire joy from going out than the preparation to go out , lets hope?it continues as?we all need to socialisd in the old fashion wY face to face .

So stay strong and breath easy and a dew brandys occasionally will keep your spirits up

Dave

Good morning Dave. Yes I agree pal. Its no fun getting older and having breathing problems. But we can't do much else but try and carry on the best way we can. Hope today is a good day for you. Brian

So very true. It is important to keep moving....both for our physical health but also our mental health. Important to have that "Can Do" attitude.

Sure, it takes extra time and planning...but it sure beats the alternative.

Totally agree, although I don't have many 'night's' out - my social life usually is going to the pub on a Friday afternoon to meet up with friends, and maybe a lunch out once a week. The walk to the pub is getting slower but I still get there with the thought of lovely grub and/or meeting good friends.
