Vocal cords

Hi all - does anyone have problems with their vocal cords due to inhalers? I don’t have the breath to bop around to music these days but I’ve always loved singing. Mediocre voice but it made me happy. Now though I sound like a 12 year old boy whose voice is breaking!! Has anyone had the same problem?

Hi Bizzie, I am often hoarse , I’ve put this down to combination of inhalers and coughing. It’s worth speaking to your GP about this as best to have it checked out

Thanks saramacg. I don’t think there’s anything medical going on, just a result of using 3 inhalers everyday. I did go to a BLF singing group for a while but it’s too far for me to go now and it’s got worse since I stopped.

Yes I do....I found if I gargle after I use my inhaler it helps a lot...I was losing my voice a lot prior to starting to gargle.
