can anyone tell me
Hi .rshappyme, yes you are entitled to pip I would fill in the forms and send any hospital letters you have and what medication you take. I'm not sure if COPD can cause heart palpitations I have COPD and heart palpitations so I suppose you could. Good luck with your pip and please let us know how you get on. Have a good night and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx 🌻🌻
Hi, PIP is not paid for a condition, but how that condition effects the individual. So make sure when you complete the form that you tell them everything about your COPD and how it effects your daily living, as Bernadette said make sure you include copies of any doctor's/hospital letters you have, in fact anything that is at all relevant to you and your COPD, also your prolapsed bladder, and any other conditions that you have and how they effect your day to day living. Good luck x
Hi Mrshappyme you could very well be entity to benefits. My advice is to get help filling in the forms, there are several free organisations who can help eg. Citizens Advice, Age Concern and others. Having this sort of help can ensure the form is filled covering everything and how your condition affect your life. If you are refused benefits these organisations will also help you appeal ( I used to work for CAB and helped so many people) Barbs x
You’re very welcome glad I could help. Do let us know how you get on Barbs x
This is not related to your question but I would like to ask about your prolapsed bladder as I think that is what has happened to me. The doctor seems baffled because it is rare in women and particularly as I had a hysterectomy so there are no issues with a uterus. Although I can't quite call it pain, more a dull ache, but the symptoms are really unpleasant. I am waiting for a scan but no treatment plan has been suggested. I would add that it is not overactive bladder syndrome. Could you tell me your experience and if you have been offered any treatment? Best wishes.
hi sorry to hear you are having promblems too. back in march 2020 i felt like a dragging feeling down below i seen my doctor and he said i had a prolased bladder and he pushed it back in place as it was nearly out . then he made a aportment with the gyno to fit a peressery ring in. i very unpleasent syntoms too. but after i had the ring fitted it takes the dragging feeling away . the pressery ring is basicaly like a scafholding to hold bladder uptill op. hope that helps you . as your doctor made a aponitment for you to see a gyno to look at you .
