This is one of the frontline meds for copd users - I think posting here was fine

Sure it is fine to post here it is just the other forum I recommended (British Lung Foundation) has considerably more members and I believe the majority have COPD. It was not a criticism only a suggestion as I am sure with significantly more members you would get more replies which would seem to be the objective of the original poster.

Sorry it sounded like you were saying there would be no reply in these forums. I never go the other cause I am in the states and so much of what they talk about does not apply here.

I am not in the UK either and appreciate there are some differences between there and other places but most of the inhalers and medications are the same. I hope the original post gets a few replies here, but suspect if not there would probably be more responses in the other forum.

Nothing wrong with this forum at all but just has fewer participants.

Yes I agree. I find the BLF site to be great and they are also a very friendly and nice bunch. We call ourselves the big happy family. x

Hi I am on BLF and agree it is a much more busy site than on here. There are members there from around the world including some from the USA. They say they join it coz it's the best site they have found.

Yes there are some differences but the problems of the illness ie breathlessness etc. is the same and we have far more in common that we have differences. x

most of our meds for copd can cause issues long term - its best to check with the doctor cause you will get so many different stories on the internet
